President Ram Chandra Paudel has emphasized the need to formulate citizen-centered, welfare-oriented laws to fulfill the aspirations of the people.

Addressing a joint session of the Federal Parliament on Friday, he expressed confidence that the government would ensure effective and result-oriented implementation of the laws that have been enacted.

He stated that only when the judiciary delivers swift, efficient, independent, and impartial justice can there be true respect for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for change.

“The Parliament must enact citizen-centered welfare laws to meet the people’s aspirations. I want to assure that the government will ensure effective and result-oriented implementation of these laws. Only if the judiciary can deliver quick, efficient, independent, and impartial justice will there be true honor for the martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives for change,” he said.

President Paudel noted that the new government has already begun its work and has sent a clear message of growing attraction, trust, participation, and leadership development among the youth toward the federal democratic republican system.

According to him, the public aspires to a responsible and transparent governance system, effective service delivery, an end to corruption at all levels, and the establishment of good governance. He also highlighted the people’s expectations for job creation within the country and overall socio-economic development.

The President added that recent movements led by the youth have reflected these same sentiments and aspirations, urging the government to work in line with the people’s expectations.
