Weather Forecast: Light Rain, Thunder, and Snowfall Likely in Hilly Areas

The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the weather is being affected by westerly and local winds.

The weather is partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country is partly cloudy to mostly clear.

This afternoon, light rain with thunder and lightning may occur in some areas of the hilly regions in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

There is also a chance of light rain and snowfall in a few spots in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali, while the rest of the country will have mostly clear skies.
