A truck carrying marbles lost control at Daunne Bazaar, Vinayitriveni rural municipality-2 in Nawalparasi East on Sunday morning, destroying a temporary structure and causing significant damage to the adjacent structure.
According to police, Dhaulagiri Hotel and Lodge belonging to Vinanath Padhya was completed destroyed in the accident while Pawan Lamsal’s hotel suffered partial damage in the accident involving the truck (numbered Na 5 Kha 8671) resulting from what appears to be a case of brake failure.
No human casualties occurred in the incident. Police have impounded the truck and taken the driver under control for investigation.
