Tribhuvan University to Launch “Earn While You Learn” Program

Tribhuvan University (TU) is set to implement the government’s “Earn While You Learn” policy through structured classroom plans, aiming to provide students with practical experience alongside their studies.

The initiative, part of Nepal’s fiscal year 2082/2083 policy and program under point 67, will first be rolled out in the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science and the Institute of Forestry, according to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal.

Prof. Aryal stated that the program will gradually expand to other faculties and institutes across the university. As part of this initiative, TU plans to partner with businesses to facilitate knowledge exchange, hands-on research, production, and infrastructure development, enabling students to gain practical skills while contributing to industry projects.
