Traffic Movement Resumes Along Daunne Section After Sludge Clean-up

Vehicular movement has resumed along the Daunne section of the Butwal-Narayangadh road after removal of the sludge resulting from rains, police informed. 

It may be noted that the stretch remains shut for traffic from 11 pm till 5 am for speeding up expansion works. At around 5 am, traffic movement again came to a stop due to slippery and muddy conditions resulting from the rains, leaving about 500 vehicles stuck on the road, police said, adding that traffic has resumed from 1 pm (May 4) after the clean-up.
