Jay Shah Praises CAN for NPL Success

ICC Chairman Jay Shah has congratulated the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) for successfully organizing the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

In a letter sent on Sunday to CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, Shah said the league was very well managed and the quality of cricket was impressive. He praised Chand’s leadership and vision, saying they have helped take cricket in Nepal to a higher level.

Shah also said the smooth running of the tournament, active participation from teams, and strong support from fans across the country show CAN’s hard work and commitment.

He added that the NPL has given young and talented players a good chance to show their skills and has improved Nepal’s image in international cricket. According to Shah, this shows that cricket in Nepal is moving in the right direction.

Shah ended the letter by wishing CAN continued success in its future efforts to grow and develop cricket in Nepal.
