Top Bahadur Rayamajhi Seeks Bail Release in Fake Refugee Scam Case

Following the release of Rastriya Swatantra Party Chair Ravi Lamichhane on bail, CPN-UML leader Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has also attempted to secure his freedom through a similar legal process in the fake refugee scam case.

Rayamajhi had applied to the Kathmandu District Court for release after offering to deposit the claimed amount, but the court turned down his request. 

He has since challenged the decision at the Patan High Court, which has ordered the district court to submit the case files. The high court will hear the case after reviewing the records.
