Sixth BIMSTEC Summit Begins With Photo Session, Tabling of Agendas

The sixth BIMSTEC Summit—themed  “BIMSTECProsperous, Resilient and Open” –  got underway in Bangkok on Friday with a joint photo session of leaders from the member-states and tabling of the agendas.
 

On behalf of the host, Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra had welcomed the delegates from the member-states. 

Heads of government from the member-states are scheduled to address the summit on Friday. 

The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multisectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) comprises Nepal, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
