Textbooks to be Delivered to Schools Across the Country Before New Academic Year

Janak Education Materials Center Limited has promised to deliver textbooks to schools across the country before the start of the new academic session, 2082.

The center’s managing director, Yadunath Paudel, shared that they a credible plan for timely printing and distribution of 170.5 million textbooks for various grades through regional and central offices across the country.

Janak Education has urged schools to contact the central or regional offices immediately if they do not get textbooks on time.

So far, nine offices of JEMC have distributed 64,768,850 textbooks nationwide. Paudel mentioned that textbooks for grades 11 and 12 are being printed on the basis of student numbers and will be delivered on time.

In the wake of complaints that students, especially in remote parts of the country were receiving textbooks only toward the end of an academic year, the government has tasked the center with the printing of textbooks, except for grades 1, 2 and 4.
