Security Forces Played Historic Role in Election: Home Minister Aryal

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has praised the security personnel for their active role in maintaining security during the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21.

Speaking at a certificate distribution program organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday, Minister Aryal said that the efforts of security committees from the central to district levels, construction command forces, security cells, and responsible government officials were historic and accountable to the state.

“The creativity and capability of the officials deployed during the election are commendable. In the past, some decisions may have been made without fully understanding situations or properly screening information. But this time, decisions were made after thorough consideration and coordination. The role of security agencies at all levels in implementing these coordinated decisions has been remarkable,” he said.
