Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Ravi Lamichhane has emphasized the importance of unity, fearlessness, and nation-centered politics within his party. Addressing the second day of RSP’s orientation program on Wednesday, he urged party members to abandon factionalism and unite “under the Bell,” asserting, “The Bell has enough strength; no factions are needed.”

Lamichhane highlighted that even when multiple powers stood together, the party did not falter or hesitate, succeeding because of their faith in citizens’ awareness. He said it is now time to demonstrate results through upcoming elections.

He warned party members that focusing on personal ambition, positions, or self-interest rather than the nation could lead to outcomes worse than those of traditional political parties. “The focus should be on the country, not individual posts. If we fail to rise above self-centered politics, we will perform worse than old parties,” he said.

Lamichhane also urged members to act promptly on visible problems, emphasizing that citizens will not wait as long as they did for older political parties. He called for putting the nation first and abandoning personal gain, highlighting that true political strength comes from unity, courage, and a commitment to the people.
