President Ram Chandra Paudel, along with First Lady Sabita Paudel, attended the Ghode Jatra 2082 celebration organized by the Nepali Army at Tundikhel on Wednesday.
On the occasion, the Nepali Army presented a ceremonial salute in honor of the President. He observed various equestrian performances showcased by the army, including horse racing, jumping, and other displays. Awards were also distributed by President Paudel to the best performers.
The ceremony was attended by Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, National Assembly Chair Narayan Dahal, ministers, and heads and representatives of diplomatic missions in Nepal, along with other high-ranking officials.
Ghode Jatra is a traditional festival celebrated in the Kathmandu Valley on the occasion of Chaitra Krishna Aunsi with various events and programs.
