U.S. President Donald Trump has said that the ongoing military operations by the United States and Israel against Iran are “progressing well,” while warning that Iran must not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons under any circumstances.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Trump claimed that the attacks so far have caused significant damage to Iran. He stated that it would take at least a decade for Iran to rebuild the damage caused by the current bombings. “We’ve done a good job. Even if they stop now, it will take years to recover,” he said.

Trump also emphasized the need for stronger and more lasting measures to ensure such a situation does not recur, adding that pressure on Iran must be maintained.

Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President JD Vance said that various militia groups and terrorist organizations operating in the region pose a threat and should be neutralized. “There are many terrorist activities there, and we must eliminate such groups wherever they are found,” he said.

U.S. and Israeli forces are currently continuing targeted strikes on Iran’s military infrastructure and missile bases. The U.S. military has reportedly used 5,000-pound “deep penetrator” bombs to strike heavily fortified missile sites near the Strait of Hormuz.

Tensions in the Middle East are rising, raising concerns about global security and potential disruptions to energy supplies.
