Prime Minister Sushila Karki has urged the public to remain confident that the upcoming elections will be held on the scheduled date. Speaking to journalists on Thursday after inspecting the ballot printing at Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra, she assured that the elections will be conducted in a single phase, allowing voters to cast their ballots without disruption.
She also expressed confidence that weather conditions across the country will be favorable during the elections, ensuring a smooth voting process. The Prime Minister added that once the elections conclude, the newly elected House of Representatives will take office, and the current government will step down.
“Rest assured, the elections will take place on the scheduled day in a single phase. There will be no second round. I am confident the weather will cooperate, and everyone will be able to vote freely. Once the results are declared, the elected representatives will take charge, and we will return home,” she said.
Prime Minister Karki also praised the Election Commission for its role in ensuring a clean, fair, and secure electoral process, expressing her gratitude for their efforts.
