President Ram Chandra Paudel has emphasized that political stability in Nepal is only possible through the implementation of an inclusive governance system. Addressing a program in Kathmandu on the occasion of the silver jubilee of the National Foundation for the Upliftment of Indigenous Nationalities on Sunday, he highlighted that equal access, opportunities, and respect for all communities, languages, and cultures are essential for sustainable development and social justice.
Drawing a parallel with the national anthem, President Paudel described Nepal as a beautiful garden of hundreds of flowers, stressing that the participation of all communities is necessary to make the country more balanced, prosperous, and harmonious. He further noted that the constitution enshrines inclusivity, equality, and social justice as fundamental objectives, and that the state must govern in trust with all communities to achieve these goals.
President Paudel also stressed the importance of protecting the languages, culture, and heritage of indigenous nationalities, recognizing them as integral to Nepal’s identity.
