With the election approaching, Prime Minister Sushila Karki is holding consultations today with the top leaders of Nepal’s three major political parties to push for political consensus.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, and Nepal Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at 4 pm. The talks will mainly focus on ensuring a free, fair, and credible election.
On Friday, government spokesperson and Communications Minister Jagadish Kharel had already reached out to the three leaders, calling for their cooperation to help ensure a smooth electoral process.
