Prime Minister Sushila Karki held discussions today with top leaders of Nepal’s three major political parties, focusing on the upcoming House of Representatives election.

 

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar and centered on preparations for the parliamentary election scheduled for Falgun 21.

 

Participants included Prime Minister Karki, CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Nepal Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel, among others.

 

According to sources, the Prime Minister has intensified dialogue with senior party leaders to help create a conducive environment for a free and credible election.

 

Earlier, similar talks involving the Prime Minister and the three party leaders were held at Shital Niwas under the initiative of President Ramchandra Paudel.
