Players Protest at ANFA Over Treatment of Sabitra

Players of Nepal’s national football team, including former captains, held a protest at the ANFA Complex on Tuesday. They accused the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) of not properly supporting the treatment of women’s team captain and star forward Sabitra Bhandari ‘Samba’.

The protest took place at ANFA’s headquarters after concerns were raised that Bhandari was not receiving enough attention and care for her medical treatment.

The players said they were unhappy with ANFA’s response and claimed the association had not taken full responsibility for the captain’s treatment. They demanded clear information, transparency, and proper support for injured national team players.
