Petition Filed in SC Against Governor Poudel's Appointment

A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court, challenging the appointment of the newly appointed Governor, Biswo Poudel. The court has scheduled a hearing on the case for Wednesday.

Advocates Anantaraj Luitel, Bishal Thapa and Prathiba Upreti argue in their petition that Poudel’s appointment is illegal and should be cancelled.

They claim that dishonest methods were used during the process and that Poudel is linked to a political party, which, they say, makes him unfit for the position.
