Partial Influence of Westerly Winds Brings Mixed Weather Across Nepal

There is currently a partial influence of westerly winds and local winds across Nepal. At present, the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the weather remains mainly clear in the rest of the country.

This afternoon, fog is likely in some areas of the Terai region during the morning hours. The hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province will see generally cloudy conditions. Bagmati and Gandaki provinces’ hilly and mountainous regions will experience partly cloudy weather, while the remaining areas will stay mostly clear. There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province.

Similarly, tonight, light mist is likely in a few places in the Terai region. The hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will experience mainly clear weather.
