Nepal Oil Corporation has asked people not to store petrol, diesel, or other fuel unnecessarily during the upcoming elections. The Corporation has assured the public that fuel imports and distribution will continue regularly.
Executive Director Chandika Prasad Bhatta said fuel is being imported smoothly through pipelines and that there will be enough supply throughout the election period. He said there is no need for anyone to panic or rush to buy extra fuel.
He also warned that storing fuel at home can be dangerous and may increase the risk of fire accidents. Because of safety concerns, the Corporation has stopped filling fuel in jerry cans and drums.
The Corporation has requested everyone to buy only the amount of fuel they need and to help reduce fire risks by not storing it unnecessarily.
