The House of Representatives is scheduled to meet today at 2 PM at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor. During the session, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will present a proposal to begin a general discussion on the government's budget for the fiscal year 2082–83.

The meeting will also feature a report from Ramhari Khatiwada, Chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082. Additionally, the Speaker will read out official letters received from the Prime Minister’s Office and the Council of Ministers.

However, the session may once again be disrupted due to protests by opposition parties, including the main opposition, who are raising concerns over a visit visa issue. These protests have already stalled parliamentary activities and prevented regular business from proceeding.

Although the Speaker held discussions with party leaders on Sunday in an attempt to find a solution, no agreement has been reached, as both sides remain firm in their positions.
