Oli Claims UML Victory Certain in Jhapa-5

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his party will definitely win the upcoming election, claiming strong public support in Jhapa.

Speaking to journalists at Chandragadhi Airport on Friday after returning from Kathmandu, Oli said UML’s victory in Jhapa is certain. Referring to the party’s election symbol, he said, “Sun’s victory is sure.”

Oli said the election environment in Jhapa is positive and people are clearly in favour of UML. He also said that many young people have joined the campaign on their own to help the party win.

“It is a good sign that the new generation is coming into politics and showing interest in learning,” Oli said.

He added that no conspiracy could stop UML from winning, claiming that the public supports truth and development. Oli is contesting the House of Representatives election from Jhapa-5.

According to UML Jhapa, cadre meetings will be held in different wards of Kamal Rural Municipality under Jhapa-5 over the next two days. Oli is expected to stay in Jhapa for a week to take part in election-related programs.
