NLG Insurance Announces 2.63 PC Dividend from Last Year's Profit

NLG Insurance Company has declared a total dividend of 2.63 percent for its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. The decision was made during the company’s board of directors meeting held on Baisakh 26 (May 9). According to the announcement, the company will distribute 2.5 percent as bonus shares and 0.13 percent as cash dividend, which will be used for tax purposes.

However, this dividend will only be distributed after it gets approval from the Insurance Board and is passed in the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM). Last year, NLG Insurance had distributed a 5.79 percent dividend. This year’s lower rate reflects a more cautious approach.
