Netanyahu Recommends Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially recommended former US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. According to the BBC, Netanyahu handed over the nomination letter from the Nobel Committee during his meeting with Trump in Washington, D.C. He said Trump has played an important role in promoting peace in different countries. Netanyahu mentioned that Trump continues to help bring peace between nations.

Earlier, Pakistan had also recommended Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Meanwhile, Trump said there has been positive progress toward ending the ongoing war in Gaza. Speaking at a press conference at the White House, he said Hamas is now seeking a ceasefire.

Netanyahu also stated that Israel, along with the US, wants a brighter future for the Palestinian people.
