The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a rise on Monday, gaining 28.91 points to close at 2,612.20, up by 1.11% from Sunday.
Out of the traded companies, 194 experienced a rise in share prices, 42 saw a decline, and 8 remained unchanged.Share prices increased for 194 companies, 42 companies lost value, and 8 stayed the same.
Support Microfinance and Super Madi Hydropower were the top gainers, both rising by 10%. Barahi Hydropower and Balphedi Hydropower also saw big gains of 9.99% and 9.93%, respectively.
Most sectors performed well, with Hydropower leading with a 2.65% rise, followed by Manufacturing at 2.46% and Finance at 1.67%. The only sector to drop was Mutual Funds, which fell by 4.21%.
