One of Asia’s premier travel exhibitions, GITF attracts thousands of industry stakeholders annually and Nepal’s presence at the fair aligns with NTB’s strategy to position the country as a must-visit destination in post-pandemic recovery efforts.
The delegation under NTB’s Senior Director Santosh Panta and Robin Regmi along with 10 private sector companies represented Nepal’s vibrant tourism sector, highlighting the country’s diverse travel offerings to the international visitors and trade partners. Bharat Khanal, Consular general of Nepal in Guangzhou, attended the opening ceromany and visited the Nepal Pavilion to encourage the participating companies and NTB officials.
The Nepali delegation engaged with global travel professionals, tour operators and media to promote Nepal’s unique attractions, including its world-renowned trekking routes, UNESCO heritage sites, wildlife adventures and rich cultural experiences. The pavilion featured interactive sessions and B2B meetings to strengthen tourism ties between Nepal and China, one of the fastest-growing and key source markets.
“Our participation in GITF 2025 underscores Nepal’s commitment to expanding its global tourism footprint. With China being a vital market, this fair provided an excellent platform to showcase Nepal’s unparalleled natural beauty and hospitality,”Regmi stated.
