Nepali Congress Acting President Khadka to Hold Press Conference Amid Internal Rift

Acting President of the Nepali Congress, Purna Bahadur Khadka, will hold a press conference today amid the party’s ongoing internal conflicts.

The announcement comes after the faction led by Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma formed a new central working committee through a special general convention.

Krishna Prasad Paudel, Chief Secretary at the party’s central office, said the press conference will take place at 2 pm today at the Nepali Congress central office in Sanepa.

Paudel added that Khadka will speak to the media in the presence of senior central leaders, showing the party leadership’s official response to the recent political developments.
