The Nepal Army has opened applications to recruit 3,600 new soldiers across its regiments, battalions, and units nationwide. The Army Headquarters has invited candidates for various posts at multiple locations.

 

Vacancies include 350 soldiers for Narayanhiti-based Valley Battalion, 75 for Bhakunde Besi, Kavre, 100 for Ran Sher Battalion in Bhaktapur, 200 for Eastern Battalion in Itahari, Sunsari, and 425 for Northern-Western Battalion in Nimare, Surkhet. Technical and support positions such as clerks, cleaners, blacksmiths, barbers, record keepers, and leather workers are also open. Basic literacy is sufficient for some technical roles.

 

Candidates must have completed at least Grade 8, with minimum GPA requirements of 2.0 (Grade 8) and 1.6 (SEE or higher). SEE or higher certificate holders do not need to submit Grade 8 certificates.

 

Applications can be submitted in person from Kartik 28 to Mangsir 27, with late applications accepted from Mangsir 28 to Poush 5 with double fees. Fees are NPR 150 for general posts (plus 20% for inclusive categories) and NPR 100 for technical/follower roles. Applicants must visit designated recruitment offices to apply.

 

The drive aims to strengthen the Nepal Army with fresh personnel across operational and support units.
