Mist in Terai, Partly Cloudy Skies in Hilly and Mountainous Areas

Nepal is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds. According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, some parts of the Terai are experiencing mist, while the high hills and mountains of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are partly cloudy.

The Department predicts that mist or fog may continue in some Terai areas this afternoon. The hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to be partly cloudy, while most other areas will have clear skies. There is also a chance of light rain or snowfall in one or two high hill and mountain areas of Koshi Province.

Tonight, some parts of the Terai may remain cloudy. The high hills and mountains of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to be partly cloudy, while most other regions of the country will see mainly clear weather.
