Kathmandu’s Minimum Temperature Rises for Second Straight Day

The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has increased for the second day in a row. According to the Weather Forecasting Division, Kathmandu recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4°C at 5:45 am on Sunday. At the same time on Saturday, the temperature was 7.4°C, which later dropped slightly to 6.9°C at 8:45 am. The official minimum temperature for Sunday will be recorded at 8:45 am and it may decrease a little from the early morning reading. On Friday, Kathmandu’s minimum temperature was 5.6°C. Meteorologists say temperatures are gradually rising across the country, including Kathmandu, as winter is nearing its end. The minimum temperature refers to the lowest temperature in a day, while the maximum temperature is the highest, with minimum temperatures measured at 8:45 am and maximum temperatures at 5:45 pm.
