Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has invited the ‘No Cable Car’ group, which is protesting the cable car project in Pathibhara, Taplejung, to discuss their concerns.
During Sunday’s National Assembly session, Minister Lekhak said the government is taking the group’s concerns seriously and encouraged them to talk soon. He assured that the government is open to finding a solution through dialogue.
Minister Lekhak also emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in the country.
Regarding the death of 17-year-old Rinku Kumari Saday from Siraha, the Minister assured that the police are investigating the case and action will be taken against those responsible.
He also expressed concern for Neha Rauniyar and Satyendra Ram from Sarlahi, who faced problems after a love marriage, and assured the government’s support for their safety.
Minister Lekhak added that the government is working on passing laws to prevent discrimination and is addressing ongoing policy reforms.
On post-earthquake rebuilding, he acknowledged the process has been slow due to limited resources but assured that work continues with the support of all involved.
