On Sunday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 75.24 points, reaching 2,890.28 points.
A total of 29,166,656 shares were traded, amounting to Rs 14.25 billion, across 302 companies. There were 139,596 transactions.
Out of 13 sectors, the mutual fund sector saw a decline in its index.
196 companies saw their share prices rise, while 44 companies experienced a drop. Four companies’ share prices stayed the same.
Shares of Himalayan Distillery, Garden Micro Insurance, and Nepal Life Insurance rose by 10 percent each.
The finance, microfinance, hotel, and tourism sectors all saw an increase of more than four percent.
