Madhesh Province Observes Public Holiday for Kabir Das Jayanti

The Madhesh Provincial Government has announced a public holiday across the entire province today, Wednesday, on the occasion of Kabir Das Jayanti. This decision was made to honor and celebrate the birth anniversary of the great poet and spiritual leader, Kabir Das, who is widely respected for his teachings on peace, equality, and devotion.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications, and Law issued an official press release confirming the holiday. Additionally, the government had already included this holiday in its official gazette, stating that a public holiday would be observed on this day every year in recognition of Kabir Das Jayanti. All government offices, public institutions, and schools within the province will remain closed today in observance of the occasion.
