Khukuri Attack at Tarun Dal Convention in Lamjung Injures Four

A violent clash broke out during the fifth district convention of Nepal Tarun Dal in Lamjung, leaving four members injured in a shocking khukuri attack. The incident occurred at Pragatitol Ama Samuha Bhawan in Besisahar-8 on Saturday.

Among the injured are Khushijung Gurung, regional president of Tarun Dal, and Sudip Adhikari, a central member of Nepal Students’ Union—both now undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.

Police say the attack stemmed from a dispute over delegate selection and internal membership issues, escalating into a fight between two rival groups within the organization.
