The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has gone down compared to yesterday, according to early measurements taken on Tuesday.
The Weather Forecasting Division said that Kathmandu’s temperature was 3.0 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am today. At the same time yesterday (Monday), it was 3.6 degrees Celsius.
After Monday, the temperature dropped further and reached 3.0 degrees Celsius by 8:45 am. Officials say that today’s official reading, which is also taken at 8:45 am, could be even lower.
The Weather Forecasting Division measures temperatures across the country every day. The minimum temperature is recorded at 8:45 am, and the maximum temperature is recorded at 5:45 pm.
The lowest temperature recorded during the day is counted as the minimum temperature, while the highest is counted as the maximum temperature.
