A three-day free health camp in Kathmandu provided orthopedic, nerve, and physiotherapy services to over 300 patients.

A total of 310 patients reportedly received treatment at a three-day free orthopedic, nerve and physiotherapy health camp organized in Kathmandu Metropolitan City ward number 22.
According to the KMC, 71 patients received treatment for worn-out bones, 25 for pinched nerves and issues in the back, waist and neck, 51 elderly patients for bone weakening and decay, 28 patients for foot pain and burning sensations and 31 patients for arthritis and uric acid issues at the camp organized by the Urban Health Promotion Center.
Additionally, 95 individuals received treatment for general orthopedic problems.
Public Health Inspector Sujan Bhandari reported that nine patients were referred for surgery due to severe bone erosion and nerve compression. Of the total, physiotherapy services were provided to 280 individuals.
Bhandari also stated that physiotherapy services are regularly available at the promotion center, with up to 20 patients receiving treatment daily. KMC continues to offer free physiotherapy under its promotional health services through its health promotion centers.
