House Set to Vote on Government’s Annual Policies and Programs Today

The government's annual policies and programs will be finalized today (May 11) in the House of Representatives.

President Ramchandra Paudel had presented the policies and programs during a joint meeting of both houses of the federal parliament on May 2.

As the document is now ready for approval, the ruling CPN-UML party has ordered all its lawmakers to attend and vote in favor. Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula said this is important to ensure full participation in the voting process.

Discussions on the document ended on Friday. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is expected to answer lawmakers' questions today before the final vote takes place.
