Jagadamba Hospitality Group has denied rumors that the Hilton Kathmandu hotel in Naxal is being sold. In a statement released on Sunday, the company said that there has been no discussion or plan to sell the property.
“We want to clarify that Hilton Kathmandu is not for sale, and no such talks have taken place,” the group stated.
This clarification follows online rumors claiming that Jayabir Deuba, son of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, had bought the hotel. The company strongly denied this claim and expressed concern about the spread of false and damaging information.
“Spreading such false news harms the reputation of both businesses and political figures,” the group added.
Located in the busy area of Naxal, Hilton Kathmandu is one of the top five-star hotels in Nepal. It was built by Shankar Group with a total investment of Rs 8 billion and took seven years to complete. The hotel has 174 rooms and is operated under the well-known Hilton Hotels & Resorts, which runs hotels in 126 countries.
Hilton Kathmandu offers high-quality hospitality services. Guests can enjoy flexible check-in and check-out times, upgraded services, executive lounge access and banquet halls that can be adjusted for different events and group sizes.
