The government is preparing a special plan to strengthen security for entrepreneurs and restore confidence in the business sector, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal announced on Friday.
Speaking at a program organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) in Kathmandu, Aryal said that the government aims to create a business-friendly environment where entrepreneurs can work freely and without political pressure.
He mentioned that the government is addressing post-movement challenges faced by the private sector and is committed to making law enforcement more effective. “The private sector is the foundation of our economy, and protecting it is the government’s top priority,” he said.
Sharing recent updates, Aryal informed that over 9,500 escaped prisoners have been re-arrested, while operations continue to track down others and recover illegal firearms across the country.
The minister also emphasized the need for open communication between the government and business community, stating that constructive feedback will help improve transparency and governance.
