Government Declares 45 Victims of Gen Z Movement as Martyrs

The government has officially recognized 45 people killed during the Gen Z movement as martyrs.

Government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel said the decision was endorsed during Monday’s Cabinet meeting at Singha Durbar.

According to him, the Ministry of Home Affairs, in coordination with relevant agencies, had conducted a detailed study before finalizing the list of individuals to be declared martyrs
