The 14th Nepal-Africa International Film Festival (NAIFF) is set to take place in Kathmandu from January 17 to 19, 2026. Organized by the College of Journalism and Mass Communication and Bilakshan Creation, in collaboration with the Film Development Board, the event aims to strengthen ties between Africa and Nepal under the theme “Africa through African Lens.”

Festival President Dr. Manju Mishra said the long-running event continues to promote cultural dialogue through films. Submissions are open for Nepali, indigenous, documentary, short, and musical films via FilmFreeway.com or at the Bilakshan Creation office until November 15, 2025.

Festival Director Dabbu Chhetri added that the jury selection will begin in late November, with final selections announced in mid-December 2025. The festival will also include international participation, film awards, and special sessions like a dance workshop, master class, Gen Z interaction on cinema, and an artist portrait exhibition.
