Gold prices in Nepal hit a historic high on Tuesday, climbing by Rs 3,900 per tola to reach Rs 221,700, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. This marks the highest price ever recorded, up from Monday’s Rs 217,800 per tola.
Silver also set a new record, rising by Rs 30 per tola to trade at Rs 2,680, compared to Rs 2,650 the previous day.
