Gold and silver prices witnessed a sharp rise in Nepal’s domestic market on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 3,500 per tola, while silver gained Rs 100 per tola. With the latest revision, fine gold is now trading at Rs 256,600 per tola, and silver has reached Rs 3,905 per tola.
On Wednesday, gold was priced at Rs 253,100 per tola and silver at Rs 3,805 per tola, highlighting a significant uptick in both metals within just two days.
In the international market, gold was trading at USD 4,275 per ounce, while silver was priced at USD 62 per ounce, according to global media reports.
