RSP Extends Deadline for PR Candidate Applications to December 20

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has extended the deadline for submitting applications for proportional representation (PR) candidates for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, the Secretariat decided on Thursday to extend the deadline to December 20.

Jha explained that the extension was necessary because of ongoing internal and external processes, such as integrating new members after the recent party merger, discussions with the High Dialogue Committee about possible collaboration, and agreements between Gen-Z movement leaders and the government.

The Secretariat also said that the PR application process could close at any time if needed. After the deadline, the party will start reviewing the applications it has received.

RSP is currently organizing its party structure and preparing for the national elections.
