NRB Publishes Updated Forex Rates as US Dollar Reaches New High

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published today’s foreign exchange rates, with the US dollar climbing to its highest level so far.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has reached Rs 144.30, while the selling rate stands at Rs 144.90. The euro is being traded at Rs 169.09 (buying) and Rs 169.79(selling), whereas one British pound sterling is priced at Rs 193.12 for buying and Rs 193.92 for selling. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 181.18 (buying) and Rs 181.93 (selling).

The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 96.10 and sold at Rs 96.50, while the Canadian dollar is listed at Rs 104.61 (buying) and Rs 105.04 (selling). Similarly, the Singapore dollar is priced at Rs 111.55 for buying and Rs 112.02 for selling.

Ten Japanese yen are valued at Rs 9.26 (buying) and Rs 9.30 (selling). The Chinese yuan stands at Rs 20.44 (buying) and Rs 20.53 (selling). The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 38.45 and Rs 38.61, while the Qatari riyal is priced at Rs 39.59 (buying) and Rs 39.75 (selling).

One Thai baht is fixed at Rs 4.54 for buying and Rs 4.56 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at Rs 39.29 (buying) and Rs 39.45 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit is listed at Rs 35.11 and Rs 35.26respectively.

Among other currencies, 100 South Korean won are valued at Rs 9.80 (buying) and Rs 9.85 (selling). The Swedish krona is being traded at Rs 15.61 and Rs 15.68, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 22.64 (buying) and Rs 22.73 (selling).

The Hong Kong dollar is priced at Rs 18.54 for buying and Rs 18.62 for selling. One Kuwaiti dinar continues to remain among the strongest currencies, being bought at Rs 470.40 and sold at Rs 472.36. The Bahraini dinar is set at Rs 382.78 (buying) and Rs 384.38 (selling), while the Omani rial stands at Rs 374.80 and Rs 376.36.

NRB has fixed 100 Indian rupees at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
