Food and other relief supplies have been dropped by air into Gaza. The Israeli military carried out the air drops, and according to BBC, Jordan and the UAE are also preparing to deliver aid by air soon.

However, international organizations and human rights groups say this aid is not enough to solve the growing hunger crisis in Gaza. Ciarán Donnelly from the International Rescue Committee said air assistance is never sufficient.

Even though 6,000 trucks full of aid are ready in Jordan and Egypt, political barriers are preventing them from entering Gaza. Over 100 organizations have already warned about the risk of mass starvation in the region.

According to the World Food Programme, one-third of Gaza’s population has not eaten for days, and 90,000 women and children urgently need emergency help.

Due to the current aid distribution process, there is a risk of fighting, injuries, and even death. Gaza is not only facing a shortage of food but also a severe lack of clean water.
