Gas Cylinder Explosion Injures 14 in Kathmandu kamalpokhari

A gas cylinder exploded at a momo shop in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, this morning, injuring 14 people.  The incident occurred at the Sandar Momo shop around 8:45 AM.
Police spokesperson Shekhar Khanal of the Kathmandu Valley Police Office confirmed the explosion.  All the victims were workers at the shop.
Eleven of the injured are currently receiving hospital treatment, while three others are in stable condition.  One worker, 24-year-old Sanjog Magar from Udayapur, is in critical condition.  Five of the injured have been taken to the Burn Hospital in Kirtipur for specialized care.
The explosion caused the ceiling of the building to collapse.  Police are currently searching the area to ensure everyone is safe.  Disaster Management Teams and officers from the Maligaun Police Station are at the scene.
