The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has expressed concern over comments made about the ongoing dispute between the Pathibhara Cable Car Project and the No Cable Car group.

In a statement today, FNJ General Secretary Ram Prasad Dahal said everyone should respect journalists' constitutional right to report freely, without interference.

FNJ condemned any actions that mistreat journalists or pressure them to take sides, calling it an attack on press freedom.

FNJ urged all parties to respect press rights and ensure a safe environment for journalists to work without fear.

It also reminded media professionals to follow journalistic standards, providing accurate and fair news according to the code of conduct.
