Fire Destroys Eight Houses in Sarkegad, Humla

A fire broke out in Humla last night, destroying eight houses. The incident happened around 12:30 AM in Unapani village of Sarkegad-3, according to Ward Chairperson Akil Karki.

The fire completely burned down the houses, along with food grains, clothes, and other belongings stored inside. Fortunately, there was no loss of human life or livestock because most people and their animals were staying in the highlands during this time.

The reason behind the fire is still unknown, and local authorities are investigating the cause.
